Professor Chen Daqin's Team Make Important Progress in the Research on Laser-driven Projection Display Materials

Recently, Professor Chen Daqin’s team from College of Physics and Energy fabricated a hierarchical structure perovskite quantum dots-in-glass film (QiGF), and coupled a blue laser with a green/red pattern QiGF wheel” to design a brand-new white-lighting source, and the QiGF-converted laser projection system showed more natural and real color restoration for its wide color gamut display feature. The work, titled “A Hierarchical Structure Perovskite Quantum Dots Film for Laser-Driven Projection Display”, was published in the journal Advanced Functional Materials. FNU is the first organization of the paper, with Liao Shengxiang, a master candidate of FNU, as the first author, and Researcher Huang Feng and Professor Chen Daqin as the corresponding authors. 

This research was supported by the Special Project of the National Key Research and Development Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Key Foundation of Fujian Province, and so on.
